Come Draghunting With Us
The Berks and Bucks Draghounds meet on Sundays, with occasional Bye Days, between August and March unless otherwise stated.
For our main season meets, please arrive in plenty of time to be mounted and ready by 11.45am for a 12 noon Meet.
Our Meet Card is updated throughout the season as dates and venues are confirmed, so please check back regularly for the latest information.

- Take a look at our Other Events page for fun rides, our Point-to-Point meeting and other social events throughout the year.
- All booking, Day Cap payments, withdrawals and refunds are handled through Horse Events.
- If you have not draghunted with us before, or you are the parent or guardian of a child wishing to come draghunting, please email our Hon Secretaries before booking. They will be very happy to discuss the meet with you and help you decide whether it is suitable for you or your child.

Hound Exercise & Pre-Season
Hound exercise is a wonderful way to meet the Berks and Bucks, get to know our hounds and enjoy some relaxed time in the countryside before the main season begins.
Dress for all hound exercise is Ratcatcher. In simple terms, that means tweed and no plaiting. Traditionally, riders wear a tweed coat with shirt and tie or coloured stock, fawn jodhpurs or breeches, and brown or black boots with spurs before Opening Meet.

The 2026/2027 Draghunting Season
The Season Officially Starts!
From Opening Meet onwards, horses should be well turned out and plaited.
Ladies traditionally wear black or navy hunt coats with a white or cream stock, fawn jodhpurs or breeches, black boots and spurs.
Our main meets are at 12 noon, unless otherwise stated. Please aim to be mounted and ready by 11.45am.
