This special meal is our chance to say thank you to all the landowners who generously let us cross their country throughout the season, without whom there would be no draghunting. It is also our opportunity to give out our annual awards and to acknowledge and reward those who give their time generously to our draghunt. Awards include:
Best Rider
Masters Cup (the horse the Masters’ would most like to draghunt)
Tumbler’s Cup (best fall of the season)
Best Turned Out
Best Tea
Hound of the Season Riders Favourite / Huntsman’s Choice

Come and see our black and tan draghounds parade and strut their stuff at the RWHS’s ‘Meet of the Hounds’ in the Castle Arena on Sunday 17th May at tba approx.

Berks and Bucks Draghounds Point to Point Meeting
Sunday May 24th 2026
We are so lucky to be able to run our own Point-to-Point at the beautiful Kingston Blount course in Oxfordshire. Almost the last fixture of the season in the whole country – this is an exciting day out as horses from all over the country race to qualify before the season closes.
The last bank holiday in May is almost guaranteed to bring glorious sunshine and it’s the perfect setting for a family day out.
There are fantastic sponsorship opportunities, space for trade stands and plenty of extra fun to be had with face painting for kids and our very unique draghound race !
Venue: Kingston Blount Point-to-Point, Kingston Blount, Oxfordshire, OX39 4SG.
Gates Open: 12:30pm (first race at 2:30pm)
Great Yorkshire Show
14th to 17th July 2026
The competition will be fierce between all the draghound and bloodhound packs as we come together for the Master of Draghound and Bloodhound Association (MDBA) Hound Show on July 17th, in the Hound Show area between Gold & Brown Gates, come and see who wins !

Bank Holiday weekend – August 2026
Another fabulous opportunity to see our draghounds parading on Sunday 24th and Monday 25th of the event….. PLUS our fast and furious Draghunt Scurry and Gate Jumping on Sunday 24th, we’ll have a number of draghound and bloodhound packs vying in our ‘Day’s Draghunting’ competition…

An amazing opportunity to ride over the many and varied stewarded fences on the Kingsclere turf with 4 set courses at heights ranging from Minimus to 60cms, 60 to 80cms, 80 to 100cms and 100cms PLUS.
Courses may be ridden more than once and may also be ridden as a pair or team of three or four. Please indicate on your Horse Events booking if you want to ride as a pair or team.
First round £20, subsequent rounds £15 when booked in advance. Extra rounds on the day £20 Cash (Minimus course £15 & £10 accordingly when booked in advance, extra rounds on the day £15 Cash).
